Excessive body roll
#1
Got an MY00 and there seems to be too much body roll. The tyres arent the best but they are ok and I dont notice much difference from the RE010s. On turn in the car seems to lean excessively until it settles in. It is not very confidence inspiring and kinda vague.
Is this normal or do I need to start looking for problems like worn shocks? I dont drive especially fast and dont want a wild suspension but am used to good turn-in.

How many miles has your car done?
I have to say, as standard, the turn in of the Scoob is not great - as you say it's vauge, understeery and too much body roll.
I've fixed these probs on my car with the Bump Steer Mod with proper Geometry setup, MRT Anti-Lift kit and Eibach springs. Unless you can find someone in SA to do the BSM, I would recommend you at least fit the Eibahcs and ideally the AL too.
I now don't get much noticable body roll but I did before....

Thanks. I know someone with the ALK fitted, will see if I can get a test drive. The BSM would be a specialist suspension setup here in Sunny SA. Will check out the Eibachs too at a later stage depending on the ALK results.

Gazz,
About £615 or something like that but it should be slightly cheaper if you did them all at the same time (I didn't so had to have the Geom done twice ).
B5,
The Anti-Lift won't have much effect on body roll whereas the Eibachs will (but have them both at the same time )
