Default cusco coilovers

i am thinking about buying a set of good condition coilovers for my car. the ride has been described to me as firm to hard. i have 40 series proflie tyres on my car. will the ride mean i'll need dental treatment regularly? will my BK alloys be strong enough? i've heard stories about alloys cracking when using hard suspension and low profile tyres? i'd appreciate feedback please, the shocks aren't cheap you see. i don't want to shell out then shell out again for a softer set up and new alloys. christmas is to close!

If you buy Cusco or Tein buy a kidney belt at the same time, and get a panel beater ready for when you skip through your first rough corner on the limit.

Great for track work....
