Default Opinions on what im planning

Hi, just wanted a couple of opinions on what to do with the suspension on my classic impreza.

I dont want to spend loads and loads of cash. I dont have an exact budget though it depends on what difference parts will make. Also I still want the car to be reasonably comfortable

I plan on changing the front and rear drop links and rear arb as from reading up these appear to biggest weak link.

also is an anti lift kit worth it? and what about strut braces?

also which bushes should I look at replacing?

thanks

Roll bars + alk+ drop links + springs on good dampers + alignment = bliss.
Bush change only if you want a lot of work to do, or are going on track seriously.
Extra strut braces? IMHO no point.

Spend the money on some very good tyres.

Graham.

Why bother with a strut when there is no real advantage bar adding weight?

I removed my Sti V3 factory top brace to squeeze an Sti V8 TMIC into place.
Car went faster, admittedly not just because the brace was off just that it adds little stiffening as it is bolted on and flexes like a piece of plastic.

The EVO design is best where the top brace is bolted to the bulkhead so triangulating the brace/suspension tops etc together.

Also, the stock suspension tops are rubberised so they flex under load too. No brace will stop that.
IMHO braces are good when properly designed and the suspension is rubber -free.
