er don't know the exact cost but . . . I think I paid around £350
Took around 2 hours and once fitted the whole shabang is then aligned.
The difference is AMAZING the handling/braking is transformed.
Just my .02 worth

230 odd vs 350? what do the tsl boys do that the other people dont? I know they are rated very highly (been there myself and was very impressed at their open day) I presume that the price for 230 does not include alignment?
Random thought 230 for the springs fitted (no alignment done) then pop over to Nottingham alignment services (where i had my pro drive settings done) for an extra 36 (or there about) all in and aligned for 260
Now if the tsl boys do something different.. does anyone know.
They seem to have done a lot of them so must be very good at it.

Just go5t of the phone with them, yep its true how cool
QUESTION.
I recon the scoob handles like a bag of poo ( well mine does with pro-drive geom, and newish bridgestones, i just ge bags of front slide, and loss of grip, if i try anything more than a brisk turn)
I want the car to handle alot better
Would 17 inch or eibachs, make the better choice?
Price v peformance and all that? anyone know?

I will mate
BUT i ran a search on the bump mod, and to be honest i dont understand what it does or how much it costs, i think i have information over load on it.
If you could explain i would be great full, i also seem to remember reading a post by andy tang (god bless him, the man that gave us lowly uk scoob owners hope lol) but he mentions that it could be bad for cornering on camber with bumps? apologies andy if im of the mark here mate, so please don’t quote me that i said that he said that. LOL who said what to whom and when?
(its Saturday and im board in work, cant you tell?)
Seriously, any clue would be cool
More importantly being the cheep skate, what will give me the best bang for my buck?

Catflap,
If you are only going to do one mod then it has to be the Bump Steer Mod (which includes proper Geometry setup) circa £100
However ( ), whilst they are going to be sorting out the Geometry, you should take advantage and change the springs to Eibachs ( ) and save yourself the Geometry re-setup when the inevitable happens and you decide you want to change the springs as well.....

Powerstation will do your bump steer mod for you and I'm sure they'll do the eibachs as well at the same time. Best bet give them a call for a quote, details on: http://www.powerstation.org.uk/
Cheers

PowerStation are asking for £370 to supply/fit Eibachs + geom
So, we have:
PowerStation @ £370
TSL @ £350
Tyres Northampton @ £230 (includes vat ????)
Anyone like to explain why there is such a BIG price difference here...anything to do with Trouser's tea & 'expensive' biscuits
Think I'll be booking into Tyres Northampton next week.......

The Tyres Northampton price includes VAT
Get the Eibachs first and enjoy your scoob being transformed. Then when thats not enough go to PowerStation and get the bump steer and geom - coz you'll already have the springs you won't screw up geom by fitting them after
