The later newage model STi's have black suspension - the shocks (Red) failed on 03 Spec C and Powerstation replaced them with a new set (blacK) from an 06 Spec C that had had a Type 20/25 conversion

Sti systems on the road are ace all-rounders.
Good choice.

the set up that was on there was standard shocks with H&R springs and it handled really well with them on but they were just too low for me to get on my drive

the sti set feels pretty much the same as my old set up but with more ground clearance, i also have front and rear whiteline anti roll bars which feel fantastic

I guess you are talking about the rear suspension here, as i thought the fronts were different on my03 and my06

They are different, The position of the bolt holes at the bottom strut locating bracket that go through the upright is further apart [ I believe ].

I am also surprised that someone can buy something from us and instead of asking for clarification get on here and ask people who [ with the very best respects ] may not know......

to be honest i hadn't heard of API before and i didn't know how much knowledge you have and i didn't even know you were on this forum

i honestly thought that you were just another breaker and my experience with subaru breakers isn't get at all as it took me 4 attempts to get a set of clocks and every time they were the wrong ones and in the end bought them from someone on here

so im sorry

Fastfu, No need to be sorry mate, in any way.

But it is a recurring theme on here, that when someone buys something, if it either; isn't what they expected or isn't in the condition that they expected - instead of going to the seller to clarify, they start a discussion or ' trial by forum '.

I guess there are many more people out there who have never heard of APi and I have to take every enquiry as it comes.

Our website, downloads HUGE number of whatever-they-ares every month so we get lulled by that fact that it is a popular site . We have even had 2 'hits' from Guam which is a speck of sand somewhere in the pacific.

Good luck with the suspension - call if we can help in any way at any time.

Kind regards David
