Started getting a knock from the rear the other day im sure its the strut!
checked warranty and its out by 4 days.... Gutted

Anyone have a rough idea on a price do i need to sell a kidney?

If its a newage i was quoted £536 from subaru for two rear struts. You can buy KYB replacements for about £150 each

If 2 rear struts are £536 then if you had to do all 4 you might as well splash out on ASTs.

Yeah good point, might have to as it looks like KYB do them up to 02, i cant find anything for an 04 plate or would the fitting be the same?

Some rod diameters were increased on the Blobeye cars. Nevertheless I can't imagine that KYB don't do stuff for an 04. In fact the STi struts off my 03 car had KYB stamped on them anyway. Scoobyclinic do KYB and AST kits so you could ask them.

Spot on Diccy. Just get in touch with those guys. KYB as far as i know make subaru struts.
