How long do dampers last on lowered springs?

How long do dampers last on lowered springs?
I've done around 26k miles 22k of which have been on lowered (Prodrive) springs.
Anyone got any experience of how long the standard dampers last as I'm getting the feeling that it's not as tightly damped as it was when it I had the springs done.
