I'm looking to get a new suspension kit for my car, and ideally intend to install it myself. So I know what I'm in for, does a MY01 bugeye impreza have complete strut assemblies (Which I suspect they do) or do they only require replacement inserts.
The reason I ask is that the subaru manual seems to say it's a full strut, but one place I have seen advertising states 'inserts suitable for KYB strut only' and most pictures seem to be of inserts.

I really don't want just the inserts
My struts just look like cr@p at the moment and I want them replaced, but the sport kit seems like an affordable option
