Default Whiteline 'wire' drop links

I need to replace the standard crap on my classic, I'm contemplating the Whiteline range but also, I need to do it as cost effectively as possible.

I'm looking at the Whiteline 'Wire' Droplinks, are they just as good as the cast versions or would it be worth paying that extra for the cast ones?

I basically use the car as a commuter to work and the occasional Hoon round the country roads.

From what I've heard the 'wire' ones are steel and not the fancy alloy versions.

These are just as good.

Raced on 'wire' drop links with a thick 24mm bar for 4 years, no probs.

They all corrode in the end and loose any bling factor.

Steel ones work fine.

Well, I've just ordered the front wire type ones and will fit them this weekend if they come on time. I'm getting them from Scoobyparts.com.

The front end is rumbling like hell when going over a rough surface, I was told its the drop links but I'm wondering if it'd be an idea to change the Steering rack bushes too??

Any ideas??

Cheers
