Suspension arms
Hi guys,
I am currently putting some springs off a turbo on my my 2000 Sport. I am also putting a rear anti roll bar on as well as it doesn't have one as standard.
Anyway I am finding all bolts very hard to undo. I have soaked in WD 40, Got big levers on them and whacked them lots. I am begining to get somewhere with the ones at the bottom of the strut bolting it to the hub.
I have had big problems with the long bolt that goes through the 2 suspenion arms and the hub. I need to remove it so I can get the suspension arm off to replace with one which I can bolt the arb links to. I got the nut off but the bolt won't budge or come out.
Any advice would be great

You are on the right track.
Brute force and chemical attack! Simply years of UK salty roads.
The way to free them easy on the struts is a real impact wrench, but without that a Breakerbar of at least 600mm x 1/2 inch drive is needed and a socket designed for an air wrench(8 flats only, not normal 16); much stronger than any multipoint socket.
ToolMart or Machine Mart do them, maybe halfords too.
You will need them to do it all up on the struts.
We have all been where you are...
