Anti-Roll bars, do they make a big difference?
Hi there,
Just ordered some STi Anti-Roll bars for my MY05 SW, both front and back.
I know they DO make a difference, but can anyone give me an idea of what real difference they can make, and if your experience with STi bars (if you have any!) is good.
Thanks for the help.

don't know anything about the STi bars I am sorry. Did you order uprated drop links as well? as the rear are a plastic material and will flex under heavy cornering which detracts from the car's ability to handle.
for me at least, the difference after fitting a whiteline arb and solid drop links to my 03WRX was like night and day and probably the best value mod I have ever bought.
Subsequent fitment of lowering springs and geometry as made little difference when compared to the ARB

Did you check they actually fit ??
Thought wagons had a narrower track than the saloons....
Have seen people on here who have done similar swap, but no details cos I'm stoopid.
Think you need cheap whiteline drop-links to allow some "twist" to fit the wider STI ARB
Someone smart will be along soon I'm sure....

Hi there,
Thanks for the help! The guy at the Scooby garage said it would be no problem, inclusively I had asked if there would be a problem with the track but he said no....
I will be seeing what he has in mind for the drop-links, since the material is still very, very far away......
If I have any updates I will post them!

Finally got them!!
STi Front and Rear. They were installed with 'relative ease' by a mate of mine, which did a smashing job.
The SW is feeling even greater now, in fact not only has it actually improved dynamically, it also seems more comfy!
If anyone wants any photos just say so!
Thanks
