Default Newage "H brace"

I have had one of these for ages, and had forgotten about it til i saw this.

Where exactly do they go on the car, and how much work to fit?

Worth it?

Bought one 2yrs ago, never fitted it, sat in the garage withall my other non fitted mods!

Its only 4 bolts, think the it sits just behind the front wheels like the alk. not 1005 sure tho. I think it would be easier if you had a set of ramps to work under.

Does it do the same job as a alk?

ALK is anti lift kit.

The H brace just lessens chassis flex from the underside of the car, just like the strut brace at the top. Simple as that. Might make a tiiiiiiiiiiiiiny difference ifyou were tracking the car but for a road car pretty unneccesary.

Just had a look, but I can't find the PDF file i had on fitting these. It is quite simple 4 bolts.
Try on scoobymods.com might have it there.

I must admit, seeing as it will only be my second suspension mod,(solid rear drop links) it will be a mainly cosmetic mod.

Do strut braces count as suspension mods? cos if they do i have one and a half fitted also

Just wondering what the "half" strut brace you have fitted LOL

I've got a Titanium front strut brace kicking around if you want one, as supplied by Butty

Are you running the 03 wrx OEM supension ? if so I'd recommend the Eibach springs

I currently have an exe-tc coilover set up which keeps the car in check but for most journeys the newage Eibachs were a joy !!

The half strut brace is the remains of the rear one, i removed the middle bar as its in the way for my boot install, just havent been bothered to remove the ends of the top of the struts, as it seats out AGAIN time

its an 02WRX and yes the suspension is totally standard, Eibachs are on the wish list, albeit a very long list

How much better are the coilovers?

coilovers are in a difference class, but unless your taking it on track id say they were overkill.

The eibachs on mine were ace as weell before i removed them for coilies.
