Default what springs to get ???

I am thinking of getting some lowering springs soon but i was wondering what lowering springs i should get ??? Is it ok to put the springs on the the stock struts ??? i want it about 1 or 2 finger gap all the way around.

I would say the eibach ones as i have theym on my standard sti 7 struts and they are great and have lowered the car about 25mm-35mm

Depends on whether your car is under warranty and if so, whether you want to preserve it. I've got Prodrive springs -- which are covered by warranty -- on my 05 WRX and am very pleased with them.

For that kind of drop then Whiteline do the 'Flat Out' kit which should drop it 40/50mm.

Personally I stick with Prodrive, no silly 'slammed to ground crack my splitter off a speedbump and forget multistorey carparking look' and better control.
Eibach make Prodrive springs but Prodrive versions are to different settings.
