Default From coilovers too.......

i have the choice of STI, RB5 or WRX standard shock/springs

There to fit an MY95 Classic, the above are from various yrs, the STI 1997, RB5 1999 and WRX 1996, will they all fit ?

All the standard setup for these models......

price is an issue, so i cant blow hundreds of £££ so the above are the options i have.

whats the difference in setup between the above, ride wise etc ?

Well the RB5 shocks/springs are the same as MY99 UK Turbo2000 models.

I believe the RB5 shocks use the same struts as the WRX model, possibly the same springs.

The STi shocks are usually uprated/lowered springs and stiffer dampers.

To be honest, with any secondhand shock, it all depends on the condition of the dampers. Despite its theoretically superior ride (road depending), the STi setup might perform worse than good condition UK suspension if its old and knackered. If you can, check carefully on the condition of the shocks. Springs can also sag after a couple of years.
