I use Silkolene ProRG grease on all my suspension bushes as its designed as a High Impact suspension grease, comes in a tub and it used to be available from Halfrauds, not that dear either.

You can get white grease in an aerosol from most decent motor factors (ie not Halfords) used on door locks, door hinges, bonnet hinges etc. No idea if it's the same stuff or not though.

Some people also suggest using copper grease, available in suitably high quantities from common car stores, i.e. Halfrauds.
