And this is what I just PM'd to jockc79 as there may be others interested.
For comparison just fitting two Subaru OE rears & using my Eibach springs would have been £600ish all in. (Fronts would have been extra)
KYB £450 plus fit & geometry. (non rebuildable)
Basic Teins £550 plus fit & geometry.
Super Street Teins £670 plus fit & geometry.
Leda 2.5" struts & Eibach springs £1500ish plus fit & geometry. A bit outside my budget but quality bit of kit & rebuildable.
However as they are based in my home town I popped in for a chat & by chance they had a set in stock from a cancelled order that would fit my Stealth Wagon.
Beverley,Andy & John couldn't have been more helpful. They answered all my questions & put me at ease with my choice & offered a full "after sales" backup should I need any tweaking or further advice on the set-up.
Then to seal the deal they offered a 30% discount plus FREE fitting (3-4 hours worth) , FREE geometry , FREE dust shields & a set of C spanners.
Which came to £1050 for the lot all done. So £250 ish a corner.
And this is what I ended up with :-
Front Strut 2.5" Adj Height/Adj Damping (Soft 6/24 Hard)
Front Spring 2.5" I.D. 9" x 300lb Eibach
Rear Strut 2.5" Adj Height/Adj Damping (Soft 6/24 Hard)
Rear Spring 2.5" I.D. 10" x 225lb Eibach
The struts are plated with Electroless Nickel to prolong their life.
They already feel firmer than the Eibachs did but not too harsh. So looking good so far & it's only £50 a corner to service/rebuild them once off the car.
Hope that helps.
Tweaked Prodrive settings.
