Default Rear shock absorber

I took my car in for a service yesterday and they phoned to tell me the rear shock absorber needs replacing do they have to replace them both on the back

if its due to waer and tare have to say yes, because other one will be worn and you don't want to unbalance the car

cheers tidgy! i took my car in for a service £615 they told me i need front brake pads (they told me they are the best ones) front and rear anti roll bar, bushes and think drop links need replacing tracking needs doing bulbs starter motor makes a funny sound when you turn it over i had the shock of my life but the mechanic said they defo need replacing

o right, might be just needed the work doing. was gonna sugest a few place but they are in the mids so a bit of a trek lol, although people do drive from all over

ok mate there is a another place its about 6 miles from where i live i will take it to there they deal with subarus and mitsubishis

I was told the same by carnetix. I saw the leaking damper myself when they showed me. Do I replace the 2 rear like for like with standards or upgrade all 4 wheels to better shocks with eibach springs, or go with coil overs (if someone can explain the difference).
