Default Cusco coilovers - help please!

Right, you'll all have to excuse me as I'm still very new to the world of adjustable coilovers, ARBs etc etc!

I've had my STi2 for nearly a month now, and it came off the boat with adjustable Cusco coilovers, cusco front & rear strut braces etc etc. It handles like nothing I've ever driven before and I'm absolutely over the moon with it...the only trouble is its a little TOO low for the speed bumps and country roads scattered around my house. Speed humps have to be taken at 0.0001 mph, and country roads have to be taken at OAP speeds to avoid rubbing the centre section on the road. I'm not bothered about the harshness of the ride - I didn't buy it with luxury in mind - but it kinda defeats the purpose of the coilovers if I have to pootle about everywhere at 20mph for fear of ripping the underneath of the car off!!

Now...please don't queue up to laugh at me, but I have absolutely NO idea how to adjust the coilovers! I could really do with lifting the car up a little, although not too high.....15mm will suffice! Could anyone help me out here please? Is it the top mounts themselves that are adjustable or do I need to get the wheels off and fiddle about?

Ta in advance, any help would be hoooooojly appreciated!

James

it's a wheels off job, you will need to wind the two red nuts up, you'll need the C spanners to tighten them up and you need to make sure they go up the same on each side.

mine are coming off as they are miles to hard for road use

Best get it off to somewhere like powerstation as its not just a matter of adjusting the coilovers, you will also need a full geom setup ie camber and allignment or you will have **** handling and serious tyre errosion...

Must admit I was thinking of just going up to Scoobyclinic this weekend and getting them to tamper with it, it would probably be the safest option I think

don't forget, raising you suspension height will adjust your tracking, so that will need adjusted as well if you go DIY style
