Sqeaking Coilovers
I've got a really annoying squeaking coming from the front suspension.I've got the Standard STI strut brace,anti-lift kit,18" alloys andCusco Coilovers fitted.
Is the squeaking a sign the coilovers are shot or does it have anything to do with me not having the tracking done or the ALK not working well with the coilovers?
I know I desperatley need the geometry done on the car but concerned that its a suspension fault.
The coilovers were on the car when it was first imported and the only thing added handling wise is the ALK and the 18's.
any idea's,suggestions or personal experiences would be appreciated.
cheers

First spray all the suspension joints in WD40. everyone on them., including the anti roll bar bushes and the roll bar drop links.
Spray up into the strut top mounts too.
Drive the car 20 miles ove some roads that make the suspention move over a good angle/full lock etc to work it in.
Has the noise gone? If do then the problem is simple maintenance rather than a duff strut.
My bet will be the roll bar bushes/drop links.

ps You could be more scientific:
Roll bar points first with the spray, drive and listen.
If still there spray the lowe ball joint etc etc until silence is achieved and you have found your 'spot'!

If it wasn't doing it before fitting the ALK, it might be the fact that they have dried up or were not greased very well during fitting, have heard them squeak before..
