Okay i've got a bit of a problem. I've got HKS Hiper Dampers on my MY95 Impreza & the spring seats/seat locking rings are corroded. I phoned HKS to find out the part no. & was given the following:

1799SA016 - 60mm spring seat
17998A015 - 65mm spring seat
1799SA017 - locking ring

HKS were so helpful that they couldn't tell me which diameter I should purchase

Anyway I got the shock of my life when I phoned a certain supplier & was quoted the following prices:

1799SA016 - (60mm) Could not locate
17998A015 - (65mm) £31.14 each
1799SA017 - (ring)£11.69 each

That totals £171.32 for a few bits of aluminium!!

What I need to know is:

1) What size are the springs? My initial thoughts were that because the supplier could not locate the 60mm ones that they were 65mm but I need to be sure.

2) Are there alternatives out there that I could use that would fit the thread diameter of the coilover? Really not wanting to pay that much for a few bits of aluminium.

3) What size is the thread on the HKS Hiper coilovers?
