Question Classic - KYB/Eibach + 225/40/18 = clearance?

Need new shocks as my Prodrive Bilsteins have started to die (rear shock seized). Trouble being that I'm running 225/40/18's on Prodrive OZ SL's. On the back I had to fettle the spring cup slightly to get clearance on the existing setup. Not too keen to buy new shocks and have to set too with the 12" 1/2" drive extension and the 4lb hammer. Anyone running these tyres on a classic with the KYB setup?

Ta.

I have the KYB's on my classic, if you are near Stafford you could try one of your wheels on my car if you like. I have the 17" STi8 alloys with 215/40/17's on them so I can't answer your question.
With adjustable rear camber bolts I did have the problem of a balance weight hitting the strut though!

Would wheel spacers give you the clearance required?

Thanks for the offer Dave, nowhere near Stafford though I'm afraid. May just have to take the chance with the KYB's.
