sti lower suspension brace!!!!!
hi all.....
how easy is it to fit the sti lower suspension brace????
can anyone anyone give me some advise and if possible some pics..

Easy to fit. I have the excellent Whiteline unit.
There are 2 of these, one with a bend in it to clear the stock cat in the down pipe, other is straight for a de cat. I'd go for the first one.
You remove the nuts off the front wishbone mounts and slide the frame on, the rear of the frame uses one of the rear wishbone bolts which are bloody big and VERY tight, especially if you car has seen some UK winter months.
Once all on you can tighten everything again and job is done.
IMO: no need for a suspension alignment.
Everything is a bit of a close fit so it is a bit of a struggle.
Definitly a home mechanic/driveway/ ramp possibility.

They can look good if you like that 'direction' and wont detract anything on the car.
If you must then do it, it is your car. (I used to build Custom Cars of sorts, so I know a bit about bling!)
