Anyone know if there is available a tool for holding the strut shaft whilst you do the 19mm strut top nut up on KW coilovers - there are flats on the top of the strut suitable for an 8mm spanner - but it's real easy to start rounding it off when tightening the nut..

easiest way to get the big nut on or off is to use an impact gun, that usually shocks it enough to get it undone without the need for the tool.

Cheers - makes sense I guess - had a search around and found nowt in any case. May fab one up if impact gun does not come up with the goods when I change the top mounts...

We got one machined for us at work, just in case.. never had to use it yet.
