G max lowering springs
Been offered a set of G-max lowering springs for £95 (including delivery), for my 99T impreza sport, should drop it about 35mm, good idea or bad idea?
Use 2 have a corsa td lowered n it ws rough as hell, will the scoob be the same wi these springs?
Thanks Marc

I'm getting a set fitted at the weekend to my RB5 along with some KYB dampers to replace my fcuked AVO coilovers. Should work well with my droplinks, bumpsteer, etc, etc that I've already got.
I'll give you some feedback next week if you like. I've owned Impreza Turbos since Jan 2000 and have driven loads.
Cheers Phill

i have ran these for 2 years now
they are not hard, but they do stiffen up enough when cornering due to the progressive design
i fitted mine with a full new set of standard kyb shocks and it worked out cheaper then buying second hand stuff from a salvage yard
i actually quite like them on the scoob, i removed a set of jap spec coilovers for them as i was sick of bouncing down the road.
as long as you have dampers in decent nick, they are fine for a daily driver.
i think mine has dropped a bit more then 35mm, but they have been on for ages and yonks

no probs
on standard 16" winter wheels, arches look much more "full" on my summer 17" wheels but the car sits quite nice
what made me find this thread again was my mate has just turned up with his classic and asked me what springs i had as mine seams to sit lower then his (50mm H&R springs on his uk car)
it does look like mine sits lower then his when you compare the 2 cars (same size wheels as well )
