Post HELP NOISE WHEN TURNING

Hi all

I have had a new clutch fitted monday and the cars done about 80 -100 miles since. The cars developed a noise when turn, this was not around before the clutch change.

I jacked the front wheels off the ground tonight and moved the front wheels left and right (as though turning), with some force. It sounded like there was some slack in the steering, could this be linked to the gearbox being taken out, or indeed the drive shafts being moved.

Your advice is appreciated

Regards

Default cv joint

could be that you damaged on of the cv joints when removing shafts, this is the only gearbox to wheel connection that needs removal apart from bottom ball joint!!!!

As above.
Check that the 6mm dia scroll pins have be installed in the gear box end of the drive shaft cv's.
If nor, replace immediatly or very high wear will result on the gearbox output stub shafts and the cv female splines.

Finally, are the lower ball joint castle nuts done up tight and with a split pin in place.
