Default Knocking on Eibach Spring

Dear All,

After some advice, don't know if you can help!
I've got an 03 face lift WRX with 25k on the clock. I've recently put on a set of Eibach pro springs and have noticed that when going over speed bumps and pot holes etc, theres a knocking coming from the front suspension and this has only started since the fitting of the springs.
I have read most of the threads regarding the knocking of Eibch springs and it appears to do with the drop links.
Can anybody shead any light on the problem before I start tearing my hair out!!!!!! Cheers

IIRC it's not the drop links mate, it's something to do with the way they're seated. Get in touch with Powerstation, they can certainly advise on this issue.

Mate I think youll sind that they all do it? Unfortunately! This is the 3rd set of eibachs ive had on different scoobys and they have all done it? Whether it be the front the rear or both? Its one of those things you put up with?

You probably hear the spring going coilbound on the closely wound part.

I think the Eibach springs can be noisey, even with the rubber covering.

Try spraying white lithium grease around the spring mounts and bushes. Keeps things nice and quiet
