Default Rear Top mounts with AST coilovers

I have a MY 95 STI RA, I suspect the topmounts are worn because I have this loud knock on full travel

Are there specific STI ones or will any do?

How much are they and who sells them for a reasonable price?

Running AST coilovers if that makes any difference

Cheers

EDIT

Well it isn't the topmounts - finally got under the car and the damper is leaking oil

Off to Powerstation next week to see what they can do.

By 'full travel' what do you mean exactly? Full bump, full rebound or what?

What kind of top-mounts - standard or pillow-ball?

I guess you've already checked that all the mounting bolts and strut nut are tight.

Full bump, its only just started happening when going over speed bumps, and sometimes I get a 'double knock' like its happening on rebound too.

I have no idea what top mounts are on the car, and not sure what type of replacements would suit my application - daily driver / a few trackdays a year.

I don't want the car any noiser inside the cabin than its current (pre knocking!) setup

IMO:
Fit some stock Sti units.
I have Sti rear tops with super stiff springs and they are quiet under stress or cruising or racing.

How easy is this to do? The coilovers have been off in the last year, so the strut bolts shouldn't be a problem.

Is a simple case of undoing the nuts behind the back seats, then jacking up and undoing the strut bolts, then taking off the topmount once the coilover is off?

What is the procedure and are STI topmounts expensive?

cheers
