Fitting Suspension on my classic help!!
I am fitting Eibach springs and Bilstein struts to my 1995 classic, has anyone got any pics of how to do this or technical docs on how to remove front and rears more so rears as fronts look pretty straight forward.
What are the torque settings also!
cheers in advance, need to do this today at 1 so quick replies would be great

These helped me so much and I know have helped others too
One thing to note that isn't in the links I posted.
On the front suspension, of the two bolts on the bottom of the dampers that hold the wheel assembly on, the top one is the front camber adjustment. I know the new suspension will affect the alignment but it may be a good idea to mark these so that you can refit them back to the original setting for camber.
Also when you do the rears you will need a friend to help - unless you have really long strong arms!
Oh and use a good socket set. I used an old one and couldn't get one top mount bolt off. Over came my mate with a sealey set and took it off no problem at all.
I did cut the brake line brackets. You just remove the clip then move the brake line connection out of the way, cut the bracket with a hacksaw and then use a pair of pliers to bend the tab out of the way. The do the same with the new one and reverse the process. Easy

i wouldnt rely on marking the camber bolts - they probably aren't in the right place to begin with. You must must must get your geometry done by someone who knows what they are doing. It makes as much difference as changing the suspension
PS people that know what they're doing don't include those that have a big blue sign saying SUBARU outside the garage

Put the fronts on last night, werent that bad to do, but when it came to the back that was another issue, the bottom bolt on each side were a nightmare to get off as they were in line with the driveshaft, took an hour and half to get one of the bolts off as was that tight and awkward to get at, actually broke a socket trying to get one off that tight and a ratchet. Will get back two on today after removing seat belt brackets
