hi all i av got a 96 impreza sti and one of my shocks at the rear has gone i dont know what they are tho they are white shocks with red springs and have got jap writing on need to urgently replace the noise is driving me crasy and one know wot they could be?????????
also like to know peoples opinions on the following suspension

IMHO:

Forget AVO!
Don't have any experience of the others so no comment, but do not forget AST's.
I am very lucky to be running on AST's after the AVO's and there is a gulf between them.

All this on an Sti V3 facelift.

My AVO's were wrecked after just 8,000 miles.

kyb's are very good aswell, adjustables at 75 each.

Out of interest what problems are you getting? my sti2 is making a clunking noise and it now handles like **** (especially in the wet) had a look, springs not snapped no leak from shocksbut defo something wrong.

hi matey the problems im getting is a rather annoying knocking noise each time i go over a pot hole or a slight bump its pissing me off and also the car dips if i hack it around a corner, i never herd of kybs wot are they coli overs or just norm and where can i get em?????????????????? 75 sounds well cheap for them to be of any decent quality i had a couple of quotes and im getting quoted loadsa dosh for suspenion!!!!!!!!!1
