MY2001 wrx springs on My2005
Hi,
I have a set of prodrive-springs for a bugeye. Can I fit these to a 2005 WRX?
I have heard that you can fit them to a 2003 by changing only the rear top-mounts. But is the 2005 wrx different?

I think the best solution would be to fit springs designed for the 05 WRX.
You can fit struts from an 03/04 Newage to an 01/02 Bugeye, and 03/04 springs will fit too, by fitting the appropriate top mounts for the springs.
I have this setup on mine.
I'm sure they changed the suspension set up for the 05 car again, may just be the STI, so you should be fitting springs designed for the 05 car.

It might just be cheaper for you to just buy the ones for your car and sell those on here to someone with a bugeye. saves you trying to swap half the suspension round for an earlier design
