Clicking noise while turning

Default Clicking noise while turning

I get a clicking noise while turning (i've only noticed it a slowish speeds) sounds like a lollystick in the spokes of a bike . Any one got any ideas?

CV joints, if its on turning, should mean it would be a outer joint...

CV's look OK (can't get it up on a ramp though) but i see the ball joint cover looks cracked could it be this?

Mine have done this a few times and usually a new load of grease in the outer CV joint sorts it.
