30mm will be fine, the 'slammed' look does nothing for the handling m8

Agree with the '20mm' as being enough; nice nice car too!

I'm with Dave.k on this.... I put -50mm H&R Springs on mine also, the actual drop on the car was as Dave's 20mm front and rear.
Check this out...
This is on 17" new age wheels

These are both on 18"

Handles fantastic and a comfortable ride in my opinion.

They are rated as a 50mm drop, as Silver Scooby Sport said but that is based on a N/A car I believe, which equates to a 20mm drop on UK turbos, WRX and STI's.

Unlike eibachs, which state 20mm drop, but from what most people on here say you mostly get 10-15mm drop with them on classics.

Wheels are 8x18's.

Both cars look absolutely spot on! How much does the H & R springs cost?

Dave K, you also said that the springs were for a N/A impreza, was/will there be any probs fitting them to a turbo?

Your looking at around £170 from http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/

When Dave mentioned a N/A impreza what he was refering to is the fact N/A rated springs allow the car to ride higher.
In rating order for OEM springs you have first N/A then standard turbo then slightly lower again will be Sti.... this means that the -50mm lowering figure probably starts off against the N/A rated springs, mine is a uk Turbo and it has dropped the car 20-25mm in total.

Yes, but the alloys I have are the wrong offset they are 45mm, just need to fold or grind the rear lip off. Plus have 225/35x18's on.

If they were 50mm offset I don't think there would be a problem, any higher and the wheel would hit the strut.

I ran that top set of Fox allys for a few days and found I had rubbing on the passenger rear arch they were also a 45 offset and they were 215/40/18, since this I have read that quite a few have rubbing on a lot of lowering springs and it seem a 35 wall is the way to go ?
