Smile Does STi 03 need uprated droplinks?

I have an 03 STi with Prodrive springs, but I could do with the handling and steering being more 'sharper' and positive. I know the WRX's benefit greatly from front and rear droplinks, but do STi's benefit the same? Any other suggestions to improve sharpness? I have the Prodrive geometry settings-to be honest these settings feel no different to how the car felt before! Thanks in advance for your help!

the front wont benifit at all as they already have the best type of joint.

The rears if jap spec it's quite possible they also have ball joints the same as the front (chage over year)
If a UK car then yes you would benifit from having uprated drop links.

Thanks Andy, yes it's a UK car! I used to have an Evo 7 and i'm looking for a similar sharpness in handling. I'll look at rear droplinks.

I just spoke to Powerstation, they said the STi 03/04 has solid rear droplinks and they do not need upgrading. He said to make handling sharper, to fit a larger rear anti roll bar, 22mm.

Fit the 22mm adjustable. With the Prodrive springs it will sharpen up the handling on the middle setting for general use. If you're going for a good run or on track, you have the option of upping it to the full stiffness and it only takes 5 minutes. Alternatively, in winter when it may be a little too snappy at the back, or on long family journeys where you want some of the comfort back you can drop it to the loosest setting. I have standard springs and find that the stiffest suits me best all the time, but I will re-experiment after getting the Prodrives fitted.
