Question Cusco 4 point lower strut brace problems

Just had a call from the garage to say that the bolts holding the wishbones and the lower brace on had bent substantially!! Haven't hit anything or anything like that so a bit surprised. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Don't know whether to refit it now or whether special bolts are needed. Only proviso is that I haven't seen the bolts myself yet, so hopefully it's not the main dealer just taking it off ( clutch change) and not being ar5ed to put it back on again.

I don't suppose it's been bottomed out at any point, even over speed humps? Anyone else got the use of the car?

I removed a Cusco 4 point lower brace a couple weeks back no signs of bent bolts. It had looked like the brace had been on there for a while as well.

Ta for replies. I've just got back from the garage now, the bolts were a little bit bent and the brace does have some graze marks on the offside - possibly consistent with low speed, speed hump contact or something like that, but I'm the only one who drives it and I don't remember any event.I usually take it very easy over bumps - our road has them. Strange.

Kate took it for a thrash when you weren't looking and rode a few humps?
