Question Suspension problem Help

Hi

I have a 93 WRX Jp imp
Until a week ago I could go around corners as quick as i dare.

But now when i am taking a right hand bend, it seems that the nearside rear tyre is rubbing the arch even at slow speeds so we all gotta lean to the right lol.

I have had a look everything seems tight and in order.

Do you think the shock has gone ?

Or could it be the coil spring ?

Not sure on what shocks or springs i got on but deffinately not standard because the ride is hard as nails and the shocks have got not for road use on them.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

Take it to an independant specialist.
Such a characteristic if suddenly apparent will be something broken (have you checked the rear bar drop link?)
A damper seized maybe.

Worn dampers are a gradual decline in performance, not usually sudden.

Cheers for the advice 911

looking at the nearside wheelarch

When there is weight in the car it is a lot closer than the offside.

My mate had exsactly the same problem dude. Turned out it was just the drop links. Which were about £30 i think.

Fear not.

Drop links will look similar to this (plastic). Don't think you'll have solid metal ones, but it'll be the same thing anyway.
