coilovers for 94 wrx
#2
Ones that meet your budget.
There are good ones for £650 + fitting @ Powerstation in Cheltenham, LEDA at £1600 + fitting are motorsport quality.
There are even used ones on Ebay if you are brave.
Trick is to have the right spring rates on them to avoid dissapointment.
IMHO you should do the usual Whiteline roll bars etc first.+ a very good alignment job, ie Powerstation/TSL etc.

my set-up at the moment:-whiteline alk, whiteline 35mm lowered springs, solid rear droplinks, whiteline front and rear(adj on rear) roll bars and geometry set up by barrets motorsport in canterbury. thought coilovers may be a good move.

All suspension is a compromise. What trade-offs are you prepared to make?

Duncan's dead right.
if you want a nice 'improved' road compliant chassis, good on solo sunday morning blats and off on hols with suitcases, stick with what you have.
If you want/need a competition chassis (like me for hill climbing) then Coil-overs, bushes, top mounts, radical setting, lumps/bumps/and crashing over matchsticks are the prices you will pay.(at least).
Coil-over will tweek the car but don't think they are a massive step forward.

If you still want to, try talking to Power Station in Cheltenham (AST Coil overs).
Doubt that C/O will help on the 1/4 mile, but will help on a track.
Don't go too stiff on the spring rates.
