Spec C Suspension on an My03 Sti
Has anyone done this...
and the big question what does it handle like...
??? If you have a Spec C whats the everyday ride like!!!!
And whats your opinoin of having it done!
Forgat to add,
??? for all you techies out there... whats the difference between the Spec C setup and the Sti ... i.e. are the shock different, is it just the springs and geo...
would i be better keeping my Sti red shock and doing the springs and roll bars instead????

I have the Ver 8-9 STI Spec C suspension in my WRX '03 and the difference from standard STI are the front shocks and all four springs!
Bear in mind spec C is lighter than the normal STI and close to WRX weight.
In my car with Prodrive springs (for STI) it made HUGE difference and although most people believe front spec C struts are harder I believe they are softer than the European STI.
I don't think they are suitable for your car mainly due to weight distibution front to rear but I am not expert, my car is almost the same NVH wise with a standard STI '03 and rides better on A roads but this is result of better matched springs (Prodrives) with the shocks IMO.

Cheers guys...
Decided... going for the Eibach springs with drop-links, front and rear AR-bars and antilift...
That should basiclay give a top result!
