Default MY02 STI - Trolley Jack Points

Hi there,

I have used the search (before you ask) but still did not get the conclusive answer I was looking for.

Just bought myself a troley jack and axle stands and yesterday attempted to use them.

Looked under the car and it wasn't plainly obvious as to where to jack the car from.

(nb: I have the Whiteline Anti Lift kit fitted too)

Please can someone tell me the exact location to be able to jack up the front end from, and then where do I put the axle stands ?

And the same for the rear please.

Photo's would be even better !!

Many thanks in advance.

Mark.

sorry, I got no photos. For the front, I put my jack on the squarish piece with 4 bolts just under the front differential, using a piece of wood. I then put my jack on the frame that goes towards the back of the car from the side, one on each side.

For the rear, I jack it up right at the rear diff, slightly towards the front of the casing using a bit of wood. I cant remember where I put the stand afterwards, but I think I put it on the two side walls near where you std jack is supposed to be, just on the inside of it.

Sorry, pictures WOULD help

edit: important ! I forgot to mention mine is an 04 wrx, not sti.

I had the same problem and phoned the Subaru UK technical helpline who were very helpful and faxed over a diagram of where to place the jacks (MY04 WRX so not sure if it would be the same as an MY02 STI)

Their number is 0121 557 2112
