Front Under Strut Brace - Pro's & Con's?

Got a normal front strut brace but seen a lower front one. Anyone know if these are worthwhile or is it just adding weight for little or no benefit?

if its the one on ebay i saw that too and was interested...but as you say im a little lost as to the benefit of it.

It does tighten up the front, but could do a lot of damage to your car in a front impact. Not sure how insurance companies look upon these things.

got the single crossbeam type on mine.....very precise steering!!

Why then Ozzy STIs have it from the factory?
I have one lower STI brace in my WRX and I can say for sure that it does a small difference but doesn't worth the money, with the same amount you can buy a set of Prodrive springs that is huge difference compared with the bar.
A bigger rear ARB does more for less
