Sti4 springs + Kybs on a uk 2000 classic ?
Hi Folks
I have the possibility of buying a set of sti4 springs for my MY00 uk classic and want to know if anyone has any experience of this combination. Specific questions I have are :
- Will they fit the car as they are or do i need to change the top mounts to sti ones?
- Will they fit standard kyb shocks ok ( not OEM ones ) ?
- Has anyone fitted these with Kyb's ( non-adjustables ) and are they well suited as a spring/shock combination? ( i realise better combs are out there )
- Has anyone had Eibachs and sti4 springs fitted a uk classic in the past and can give me a comparison on handling, ride quality, drop etc...? ( also appreciate there are many other contributing factors here so can be subjective )
Thanks in advance
Rich
** just for ref, other suspension mods are - Bumpsteer, Whiteline front links and antilift kit, Powerflex rear drop links, Whiteline rear adjustable swaybar / front strut brace, Eibachs with kybs today.
