lateral link bushes
ive got a creek from middle or rear of the car as i stress the car pulling away or going over a bump or driving slow in 4th or 5th a friend said it could be the lateral link bushes as this is a common fault has any body had a similar problem

That could be any of the numerous bushes in the rear end!
Tricky to find, but try prising all the link bushes with a screw driver with the car on a ramp.
There are 18 bushes to go at....
Good luck!

I'd look at the anti roll bar drop links first, if they are the plastic ones then I've had one where the bush went (you could move it from side to side) and got similar symptoms to you. Replace them with Whiteline ones as these are only about £40 and do a better job.

If they're uprated they can be noisy. If you can't see any cracks, give them a spray with some WD40 and they should quieten down. Lots of people end up removing uprated bushes as they can't live with the noise- they just need regular lubrication.
