strut brace fitting attempt

The existing sealant has deformed the plates even torqued at only 14lbs.

Forget it and stop bothering people?

hi

i fitted one to my 04 wrx and was told be a few people (experts) to put washers under the mounting plate as to not damage the seam sealer. had no problems with it disforming the plate
