uprated springs for an import classic sti
I own a Sti6 and although I'm happy with the handling the car seems to sit too high. I've enquired at a few places about just uprating the springs but have been told that all aftermarket springs are softer and not that much lower than the standard sti spring. Does anybody know of any springs that would lower my car and improve the handling??
Or am I going to have to put my hand in my pocket and purchase coilovers?

the standard STi6 spring rates are very hard and in my opinion provide the car with excellent handling for the road, but the ride height does appear high.
a set of decent mudflaps would reduce the visual effect and make it look more like a rally car - rather than the expense of coilovers

er....... I thought Eibach were 30mm lowering springs, although the car sits lower, the handling isnt imporved any really..... no noticeable difference - but from what I hear - they are effectivley the same but with the car lower - i.e wouldnt be any better on a track - never heard anyone say they are softer.....
You'd need to get the set up done
