Does anyone know of someone who could rebuild my Drummond 50mm gravel suspension struts after they took a bit of a battering at the last rally I did
Cheers

P1dog,
You will find that teg only hold seals. The lad we service for peter thornton runs his group n impreza in the kumo tyres championship had a new set of drummonds one rally and they were loosing pressure couldnt find anybody to re gas them and ended sending of to australia for a new one,you would think that a company like drummond would have a better after sales service.

Cheers for that, I guess your work was done under warranty though? I think that my struts are a bit out of warranty. Will probably be cheaper to buy a new set of proflex !!
Why was re-gassing them such a problem? I've blown one of the hydraulic seals on mine and i guess lost the gas to. Do you have any good technical info on DMS struts cos as you say back up it sadly lacking in the UK.
Thanks
Rob

We never got the work done! The Drummond struts might as well be a throw away item as you can't get them serviced in this country and rummond themselves can't guarantee a return date. That's why we're going to Proflex later this year, service you CAN trust and customer support.
