Default STi pink springs?

Is anyone here using the STi pink springs?
I see lots of mention of Prodrive springs but never heard of anyone using the STi ones.
Surely they must be good?

Which MY are you talking about? The Prodrive ones are made by Eibach and from what I've heard are less firm than the STI variety (on classics anyway).

Not sure who they would compare if you fitted them to a newage WRX.

The P1 kit I have has red Eibach, so there must have been a benefit over the STI springs that the P1 was based upon.

Soory I am talking about the new age springs. They are not standard fit but I have seen them as a genuine STi aftermarket product.

Ah, right. Don't know then. So the springs fitted to a newage STI are different to the aftermarket pink ones? I guess there must be a difference in the UK and JDM STI's as well.

hi please keep me posted as to your research progress as I too have tried your combination which is supposed to be the best and find it far too unneccessarily firm - I hear PowerStation's T25 type set up is supposed to be good but yet to receive detailed response

Yes I've also seen these STi springs

In fact

I'd also like to know if these are any good? I'm sure they must be as the standard STi suspension on my JDM STi is already excellent, except it sits on stilts!!!!

I've heard from a guy in the US who has them along with the pink STi suspension struts, sounds like its a good set up.

You can get these from Japanparts but by the time you've added delivery etc you are looking at nearly £300 + Fitting. Ouch! If I had an STi part number I may be able to get that price down.

Scott, can you get hold of them for a decent price?

Well, I think those springs work pretty well with the standard JDM's struts. The car I drove (std STi - not a spec C) with them on felt like the waffle at the top of the std springs had been lopped off. Everything was a touch more direct as a result without making it too much harsher than std IMHO (it also had an ALK which helped of course).
