Question Geometry advice

My cars going in thursday (my 03 sti)for prodrive springs but i am a little concerned about getting the geometry right,so does anyone know what settings i should ask for to eliminate the understeer but not ruin the tyres?
also im still trying to get rid of the banging from the rear suspension does anyone have experience of this? im getting fed up of it now as it makes the car sound knackered and its only done 4000 miles!
work to be done by the main dealer by the way.
thanks.
mike.

Mines going in on tuesday, i wil stay with the subaru settings as from what i have read the prodrive will give you better grip but will eat the insides of the tyres

It depends on what the "Prodrive" settings are.

Altering the geometry will not necessarily wear tyres unevenly. There's plenty of folk who've adjusted settings to remove understeer and still report even tyre wear.

Some owners find the Prodrive geom settings lead to more even tyre wear. The type of driving you do may also affect tyre wear with certain settings.

Mine is going in Saturday too, I been recommended the Prodrive settings by Pete @ Prosport (where it is going for the work)

Would this be best for my car

Classic UK MY00 with Eibachs, and Compomotive MO's with Bridgestone S03's 215/40/17's & front & rear strut braces

Mostly drive motorways, and the odd country blast, only done one track day, not sure If i will do anymore (at least in this scoob)

I have asked before but got vitrually no response

What are the Prodrive settings? I've seen a few slightly different values mentioned.

taken from 22b.com

Whiteline suggest:
F camber -1.5 toe 0.0
R camber -1.25 toe 1.0 (rear camber bolts?)

Prodrive:
F camber -1.3/4 toe 1.0
R camber -1.1 toe 1.0

yeah, AFAIK rear camber can't be modified on a classic without some camber bolts.
