Just thought I'd share this......

On Saturday I took a roundabout and something felt really strange with the steering/handling, now I wasn't going too fast as I had very little pad material left on my rear brakes. I got out and had a look but couldn't notice anything untoward. I drove home very sheepishly.

Yesterday I took the car to get the rear pads/discs replaced and whilst looking at the car up on the ramps I noticed that one of the standard nylon droplinks had snapped. Luckily I had a set of solid links at home which I have now fitted.

I don't whether this was wear and tear (the car has completed 124k) or because I had fitted bigger ARBs two/three months ago. I did not fit the solid links at the same time as I wanted to see what difference the ARBs made on their own, but after this I would recommend that anyone in the same boat fits the lot!

Shows you how crap the standard ones really are - always upgrade the bushes and links if you're gonna upgrade the ARB!!!
