Tein Struts - can they be reconditioned ?
#1
Have a set of Tein adjustable platform struts but they have gone a little soft and the rears have a kind of rushing air sound on bumps (kinda like a quick chuffing sound)
I don't think they can be rekitted but you never know what people come up with when faced with the expence of replacing them.
Any info on these units would be appreciated..

Hi there
I have a set of second hand tien shocks with cusco mounts. I believe the sound you are refering to is the usuall sound, a slight hiss as the strut does its thing over bumbs. All four of mine can be heard most of the time, I may be completly wrong but I have no problems in handling. What colour are yours, mine are blue I don't know wether that denotes their model or how old they are. I have been reliably informed that mine are completly reworkable. Hope this helps.
