Spring kits
Can anyone give me any advice or point me in the direction of a thread on recommended spring kits for a MY98 Turbo. Want to lower it by 1 1/2" or so, can't afford dampers as well at the mo.
Is this advisable or should I go for a full kit when I can afford it.

As me mate Dave says - that's not advisable. To lower the car by that amount will require you to change the dampers as well. If you want to try something more subtle first, go for the Eibach springs (about £140 fitted by Tyres Northampton I think) - this should lower the car by about 15 - 20 mm, improve the handling and have no real detrimental affect on the ride quality.

Eibachs rule.. easily the best economical route to take!. depending on the state of your standard dampers, they do work extremely well indeed.
Please come and drive our UK car and see for yourself!... Rob Mac was more than a little impressed and all it has are Eibachs and proper geometry.
