Has anyone seen a poorly Leda C strut before?
Does it look like this? Or has the oil come from somewhere else?

I haven't noticed any major difference in the handling yet, but oil is still coming from somewhere.

I think the suspension has done around 60K, so i know it should be rebuilt, for maximum performance, but operates fine IMO.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Phil.

Thumbs down

Clarey,
I thought I would give it a day or so to see if anyone came up with an answer for you,
I would say that the strut is leaking to a point where it needs sorting, you probably won't notice the lack of damping due to the fact that it's been happening over a period of time and not suddenly. I bet you'll notice when it's fixed though!
Enjoy
Ron

Phil

I've mailed you with Leda's contact details, for servicing.

60,000 miles is exceptional for competition spec dampers.
